Stress and illness sometimes cause the body to be in a state of imbalance, stopping it from functioning effectively.  

 

Holistic therapies can provide a sense of relaxation and increased well-being which can contribute positively to a person’s mental health.

What are the effects & benefits of massage?

  • Stimulates the release of endorphins which elevates mood and helps with depression and anxiety.

  • Increases blood flow, circulation,  lymphatic flow & stimulates immunity.

  • Nourishes tissue and encourages healing which helps to relieve aches & pains.

  • Aids elimination of accumulated toxins and waste products.

  • Activates the Parasympathetic Nervous System.

  • Encourages the body to rest & relax & helps to promote sleep.

What happens at my first appointment?

Each treatment is personalised to your needs which means we will need you to share the following information with us. 

  • Medical History

  • Details of medication

This is to ensure that there are no contra-indications to the holistic therapy that is offered.

Will I need to do anything different after the appointment?

  • Avoid alcohol for at least 3 hours after treatment, this gives the body time to detox thoroughly.

  • Drink plenty of water to help the kidneys eliminate the toxins.

  • Do not bathe or shower for at least 2 hours to allow the oils to be absorbed and start the detoxing process.

  • You may experience the feeling of tiredness and lethargy. because of the release of toxins. Have a suitable rest period after the treatment.

We currently offer:

  • First appointment is free, 30 minutes.

  • The first 4 sessions are free and are then £5 per session

  • max group of 6 people 

  • All sessions are subject to a completed referral form and availability.
