Fundraising for Burton Mind

Our Fundraising Family help to change lives

As an independent charity, we raise our own funds to maintain our presence in Burton on Trent, Burntwood, Uttoxeter, Tamworth, Lichfield and the surrounding area.  Presence is important as people need to be able to find us easily if they need support with their mental health.

We tailor the many ways we support people based on the needs they report to us.  Currently our community funded services include Counselling & Coaching, Sports Activity, Ecotherapy, Mindfulness,  Peer Support Groups and our volunteer programme.

You can donate to us directly on Our Donations page.

However, we welcome fundraising as well as donations!

Every penny you raise stays local!

When you choose to fundraise for Burton and District Mind you can be assured that every penny you raise will stay in the local area.  Our expert Development and Sustainability team make the most out of every penny you raise. In fact, over 2022, for every £100 raised by our Fundraising Family, Burton and District Mind secured £2,600 worth of mental health service provision.

Congratulations to Ed Clamp!
Bridlington to Blackpool, 29 Sept to 1 October 2023

Day 1 - Burton to Bridlington - Train to York then cycled 48 miles in 3 hours 30 minutes.

Day 2 - Bridlington to Bolton Abbey - The main day of cycling and they were greeted with a strong south westerly headwind. This can be demoralizing at times but they pushed on.

Day 3 - Bolton Abbey to Blackpool - A real tough section greeted the cyclists with some severe climbs. They hit over 4000 feet of elevation but the downhills were fun!

-11,226 feet of elevation climbed

Ed and his friend raised £875 for Burton and District Mind and one more charity which has been split equally.

PC Rich Lymer took part in the Tissington Trail Half Marathon, on Sunday 24 September raising a fabulous £800 to be shared between Burton and District Mind and Burton Albion Community Trust.

The weather conditions were challenging to say the least, but Rich pushed on, after overcoming a painful injury earlier in the year, to come an admirable 50th out of 314 runners. What an amazing achievement!
