Volunteering Opportunity

Community Associate - Tamworth or Lichfield

​

3-15 hours a week, supporting existing community projects including our Safe Haven service and Future Focus service.
 

To support the community in providing useful, relevant and up to date information to support their emotional wellbeing and mental health.

This role would ideally suit a person with lived experience of mental health problems or a carer.

​

Volunteering Opportunity

Fundraising Associate

​

3-15 hours a week, supporting our community fundraising campaigns.
 

To run social media based fundraising campaigns and to arrange fundraising events.

This role would ideally suit a person with experience of fundraising for charities.

Note on Volunteer Counselling Placements

Burton and District Mind do not currently have any vacancies for Volunteer Counselling Placements.

Due to the complexity of the clients referred to us, student counsellors placed with us MUST be on their second or subsequent placement and must have 100 counselling hours prior to placement. They will have completed a qualification Level 5 or above (including a Degree in Counselling). They must be BACP registered (or equivilent membership will be considered).

Burton and District Mind are looking to recruit new trustees to join our existing board.

We would like to hear from people who share our vision for everyone in our community to experience better mental health. We are particularly interested in recruiting people aged below 25 and/or who represent Black and Ethnic Minority Groups.
