Funding Project Coordinator

Background
Following a successful pilot of a paid fundraising post and increased charity need, Burton and District Mind are further investing into a Fundraising Coordinator. Burton and District Mind recognise both the importance of income diversification and the opportunities that being a charity provides in relation to income generation, community development and service promotion. The role will be an integral part of part of the Development and Sustainability Team.
Funds received support local people with mental health problems by match-funding grant applications and providing resource for innovation and pilot projects.
Key Information

37.5 hours a week (Mon-Fri), salary at £24,375 a year.

Hybrid working – office and home. Must be a car driver.

Role available due to fundraising success within the charity.

12-month fixed term from October 2024 with view to extend based on charity need.

Coordinating community fundraising and building relations with donors.

Coordinating workplace health events with local employers.

Events and activity management.
-
Line management of volunteers.

Excellent IT Skills and Project Management experience.

Enterprising and entrepreneurial approach.

Role subject to DBS checks and 2 references.
