Online Peer Support - Burton, starting in May 2021


Funded by Consolidated Charities of Burton Upon Trent, Burton and District Mind will be providing Peer Support Meetings on Zoom from May to July 2021. Sessions will be held on Thursdays 6pm to 8pm, and facilitated by Sukhbinder and Alex, Community Help Associates.

You can register your interest on using the form here.

To be eligiable to use this service you must:

  • Recognise yourself to have a mental health problem (or a carer) and believe that weekly sessions to talk to other people with similar experiences will help

  • Be aged 18 or over

  • Live in Burton on Trent or the surrounding area (Stretton, Branston, Stapenhill, Winshill, Horninglow, etc)

  • Have use of a computer, phone, or other device with Zoom installed and internet access

If you represent a organisation and wish to refer a client to this service, please note that this service parallels 'primary service provision'. If your client is in receipt of secondary mental health service but you beleive the referral is appropriate and would be helpful, please make this clear on the referral form with your contact details, with the name of the Care Coordinator.
