Our Drag Queen Bingo Night

On the 26th of May, we hosted our very first Drag Queen Bingo Night at Marston’s Social Club!

The event was hosted in partnership with the wonderful people over at Burton Pride, and we truly appreciate their support in making this happen. On the night, we had a brilliant amount of around 50 people in attendance.

Thank you to everyone who came out on the night to make it a night to remember.

We are incredibly grateful to Nolan and the team at Marston’s Social Club for allowing us to use Marston’s Social Club as a venue, and to Madam Tutu, who brought the night to life with her fabulous energy.

“It was an amazing night – Miss Tutu was abs

olutely incredible and kept everyone thoroughly entertained from start to finish. Miss Tutu’s energy, humour, and show-stopping presence lit up the room and had everyone laughing, clapping, and joining in the fun. From the moment they stepped on stage right through to the final act, they brought an electric atmosphere that made the night unforgettable.

The room was full of smiles, cheers, and joy, a true celebration enjoyed by all who attended. We want to say a massive thank you to Miss Tutu for their fabulous performance and to Burton Pride, with whom we proudly partnered to bring this brilliant event to life.

We also had a surprise and absolutely fantastic performance from the amazing Burton Burlesque women, who brought glamour, confidence, and plenty of sparkle to the floor! Their show was a real crowd-pleaser and added an extra special touch to the evening.

A huge shoutout goes out to Ben, who went above and beyond by dressing up in Drag and even shaving off his beard before the event, all to raise funds for Burton and District Mind. His bravery and good humour didn’t go unnoticed, and the support from the crowd was incredible. It was a night full of fun, surprises, and heartfelt moments, all for a great cause

Ben Longmore, a member of our Burton and District Mind team, raised an additional total of £315 in his fundraiser alongside the event!
