Rhythms of Wellness: A Massive Success!

On Saturday, the 27th of September, we hosted our first-ever Salsa event, Rhythms of Wellness, at the Burton Caribbean Centre, to raise funds for our upcoming Thoughtful Foods Project!

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who made Rhythms for Wellness such a fantastic night.

A special thanks to Dean Carruthers for all his support, Trevor, and Val Wright from the BCA Community Centre for hosting us and DJing on the night, and to DJ Christine Leonard Green for keeping the music flowing.

Our gratitude also goes to our amazing dance teachers, Ula Zarebska and Jose Oliva Poyatos, and to Strella Rush for capturing the evening as the photographer.

A big thank you to Lesley, who, as always, provided invaluable assistance behind the scenes, and to Emma for sharing information about the Thoughtful Foods project.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who came along, danced, and joined in, together we created a brilliant community night full of energy, connection and purpose.

We’re delighted to share that the event raised a total of £969.57 in support of the Thoughtful Foods project – an amazing achievement made possible by our wonderful community.
