Burton and District Mind are proud to announce that we have been selected by The Big Burton Carousel as their chosen charity for next year's sculpture trail.
This will be a huge opportunity to raise awareness for mental health and what we do here at Burton and District Mind, as well as also helping us to fund many of our services to continue to make sure anyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to go for advice and support.
This includes expanding existing projects such as the eco-therapy and also contributing towards our Low Cost Counselling sessions.
Following the success of last year's Swan Trail they aim to go even bigger this year! The Big Burton Carousel will have 30 sculptures of galloping funfair styled horses designed by artists. They will be left in iconic and popular parts of the Burton Upon Trent area for 10 weeks starting from June 2022.
Local businesses, groups and individuals are invited to sponsor one of the 30 horses, where they will get to pick the design they like most.
