Supporting Students And Their Mental Health!

Registration is open for this year’s 27 27! This is a challenge Mind runs every year across the month of March, to get people to run 27 miles over 27 days, in solidarity to every student that is struggling with their mental health.

By taking part you can help raise money and awareness for students mental health.

Once you have started fundraising Mind will send you a special 27 27 shirt!

Whilst the idea of running 27 miles over the course of a month may seem a bit daunting, you're able to do it in whatever way you like. Whether you want to do it alone, with others, quickly or slowly, that's all okay. Everyone can take part! And together we can help support students and their mental health!

Exercise can also be a fun way of supporting your own mental health!

The past few years have been difficult for everyone and young people are no exception, in fact Mind reports that two thirds of young people with mental health problems have had their mental health get worse since the beginning of the pandemic.

This could be down to a number of factors such as being stuck inside, not being able to see friends/family, as well as the stress of student life and having to adapt to new ways of completing their education.

So let’s do our bit to help raise money and awareness for student’s mental health!

Additionally, we are currently exploring what we can do to help young people (16-24 year olds). Please share your thoughts, we would love to welcome you to complete a short survey.

Please talk,

We are listening to you.
