Burton and District Mind are looking to recruit new members to their Board of Trustee Directors. Burton and District Mind are a local mental health charity; we have been a consistent, trusted organisation for people with mental health problems to turn to for 30 years. Due to our recent growth in demand for services and so we support people to the best ability we can, we are looking for people to join our fantastic team of Trustee Directors. Our Trustee Directors support our mission through meeting formally six times a year to review our work, and doing some work to help with our planning, fundraising, involvement and monitoring in-between meetings.
We would particularly welcome people who have personal lived experience of mental health problems and/or people from Eastern European, Black or Asian minority backgrounds. We would also very much welcome applications from people with experience of community representation and/or community fundraising.
This is an opportunity to be part of something really special and to support us to help even more people with even better provision.
