Burton MIND is an independent local voluntary organization that provides an informal base and support centre for people with experience of mental distress. The centre encourages activities and believes in self-help and open access without referrals.
This website is a source of info and the current going on's at Burton Mind, which is based on Wood Street, Burton upon Trent.
One
of our past projects was part of East Staffordshire Borough Coumcil's
Community Arts Programme and had received financial support from West
Midlands Arts, Consolidated Charities of Burton on Trent and Staffordshire
County Councils' Arts Grants. The artwork and writings contained in the
galleries, are the results of a number of creative arts projects that
have taken place at MIND in 2001-2002. Please
